"We have an experienced team that gels, and a clear vision that everyone believes in"

Our strategy is to operate as a team, combining the many years’ of technical application skills and operational experience within the shipping and trading industries, into the making and deploying of the latest generation software solutions. The teams approach to technology and development is focused and maintained through regular client–contact, research and analysis.

Collectively, we have a deep understanding and a vast knowledge base of the client–environment we serve. Ongoing education in technology and our target client–base is highly encouraged, and maintained through our specific key elements.

iTmarine’s philosophy is to clearly understand the clients’ requirement and their work environment, and to collaborate in order to provide uncomplicated, flexible, easy to use solutions, supported by system reliability and quality maintenance.

The Cape Fur Seal: an inquisitive and friendly animal when in the water and will often accompany scuba divers. They will swim around divers for periods of several minutes at a time, even at a depth of 60m. On land they are far less relaxed and tend to panic when people come near them – but they are more confident in the water.

Males (bulls) have a body length of 2m; females (cows) are 1.5m. Males weigh 150–200kg; females are lighter at 30–60kg. Anchovies, sardines and other fish species are important prey items, as well as invertebrates including crabs, shrimps, squid and mussels.

Some fur seals nurse their pups for 6–12 months, although when food is scarce, they may nurse for up to three years. During this time, the mother undergoes a cycle of five days feeding out at sea and 1–2 feeding her pup on the shore.

Infant mortality can be as high as 40 per cent in densely populated colonies, due to accidental separation from their mothers and aggression from other adults.
